So the Christmas season is rolling to a close and it's been a busy one, we tried (and failed) at elf on a shelf. We tried and had mixed success at baking. we had a 13 person strong Christmas day heavily fuelled by a table almost bowing under the weight of alcohol and as we head on into the new year I wonder what this 12 months will bring.
Elf on a Shelf.
So I had 24 days of somewhat ambitious activities planned, there was baking, and craft projects, and days out, and as it turns out baking and crafting is really quite difficult to do with a 3 year old when you have a 9 month old attached to you limpet style. Also actually remembering to move the elf proved to be more of a chore than I'd expected, and when I first remembered to move her it prompted such a huge freak out from Boo that she never left the kitchen again. Mummy must try harder next year. Or be less ambitious. Or less tired. On the bright side at the weekends coming home at 4am from work meant I was able to set up a few genius plans (in the confines of the kitchen)
